“These images mimic our dreams, they mimic our lives.”
Cheryl Hrudka was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Her personal experiences and her knowledge of the medical field contributed to her interest in using her photography to enhance the surroundings of others and add positively to their daily routines. In 1998, she co-founded Recent Developments, LLC with Stan Johnson. After 2008, Cheryl changed directions in her artistic endeavors and began using some of her photographs to create unique abstract images using the computer and various software applications. In the past seven years, Cheryl has discontinued using her traditional photographs in this manner, and has started using a plain, 185mb field to create her images from scratch. She focuses on the journey. There are no maps. While at times even though Cheryl has an idea where she is going with an image, she truly does not know the end result until she gets there. She is represented by the Gloria Delson Contemporary Gallery in Los Angeles, CA; the ADC Gallery in Cincinnati, OH and by The Artblend Gallery in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Her original abstract creations can be seen in corporate offices and private collections throughout the United States, Canada and Europe.
